I’ve been hearing from a lot of people lately about how they are experiencing sporadic down days.

We think we’ve acclimatised to the way life is right now and then suddenly, quite unexpectedly we wake up one day feeling down again.

So how do we stop these down days from occurring?

The truth is that sometimes we can’t.

For all the conscious and concerted efforts we make to get fresh air and exercise, to eat healthily and regularly, to keep productive and busy, to not beat ourselves up, there are still going to be days when the current situation just feels rubbish!

All we can really do on those days is remind ourselves that this feeling will pass and better days are ahead of us.

It’s ok to feel down because it will help you appreciate the good days even more.
